Thai 10 Baht Circulation Coin and Banknote

The Thai Government issued a 10 Baht coin in 1989 to replace the 10 Baht banknote. In conjunction with that event, this coin pack was issued. The 10 Baht coin is a bi-metal, bi colour coin. The center disc is of aluminium-bronze and the outer ring is cupro -nickel. The obverse of the coin features the King Rama IX with the inscriptions Bhumibol Adulyadej on the right and IX Reign on the left. The reverse of the coin features the temple of the Dawn with the denomination in Braille above and in numeral below, the inscription Thailand on the right and the date on the left.

This coin pack also comes with a 10 Baht banknote that issued in 1980 which is one of its 12th Series of Thai banknote. The front of the 10 Baht banknote features the portrait of King Rama IX and at the back of the note features the monument of King Rama V the Great. This series of note also known as The Great Series.
